Challenge
A national sales organization was preparing for a full-scale investment in their platform technology, modernizing software, data, and collaboration technologies. Seeking to invest in the area that matters most, the IT leadership team engaged BUILT to perform a baseline assessment of workforce risk, development practices, quality, and data management.
Solution
BUILT met with leaders and experts across the organization to create a target state model. BUILT then developed a combined survey/interview process to capture maturity against that desired state and industry standards.
Results
The structured assessment highlighted strengths off which the organization could build, and highlighted risk areas across people, process, and technology. BUILT drafted a time-scaled implementation roadmap in which each improvement moved the needle in multiple domains. Full implementation of the roadmap spanned less than two years.
