A logistics company discovered an opportunity to solve a common problem for their customers to track ownership, contracting, and the location of the chassis used to move the shipping containers by truck.
Solution
BUILT created a web application that allows users to login and be authenticated by their role in the system. They can view their chassis fleet on a map and drill into each unit's movement history. There are also now options to create chasses and update their contracts, inspections, and events.
Results
The initial version of the new system was designed and built in only eight weeks, providing a rapid solution to customers to alleviate their problems. The final iteration of the SaaS solution was built in just eight additional weeks, and it immediately started generating revenue upon release.
